Created in 2014, Following Cromford Canal was a project that explored a 14 mile stretch of canal that formerly ran from Cromford in Derbyshire to Langley Mill at the border with Nottinghamshire. Since the canal’s abandonment in the mid-twentieth century some areas have become overgrown or built over, only six miles remains in water.

The projected culminated in a photo book which was displayed at Black Box, the 30th Annual Photography Degree show at Nottingham Trent University. Peter returned to Cromford in 2016 creating the Short Intro zine ‘A Brief Return to Cromford Canal’.
